It wasn't easy for us to get to this park, as it's not near the main tourist attractions in the city center, but it's well worth the visit! And it's free, which is quite a relief for the budget traveler! Like all of Gaudi's works, it's full of life and color and interesting shapes and forms. On top, you have a gorgeous view of the city.
At each corner that you turn, there is something new and amazing to discover. The park itself is constructed on a hill, so to visit it, you're actually going up and down more than side to side. It's not huge, so you can't really get lost, but it's big enough for Gaudi to create many areas with different themes and ambiance.
We visited this park with 2 kids and a teenager and there was truly something to spur everyone's interest. The just-opened 4D cinema on Gaudi's life (G Experienca) is just outside the park, about a five-minute walk from the main entrance. You reserve on the Internet and it's quite expensive, but the kids loved it.
